Koenigsegg CCR

The Koenigsegg CCR was the Fastest Production Vehicle record holder for a few months. The CCR is based on the CC8S but is far more powerful and offers better performance. It features a 4.7Litre V8 engine capable of producing 806hp along with 678lb/ft of torque. It is aided by a Lysholm twin-screw supercharger. On February 28, 2005, the Koenigsegg CCR attained a speed of 387.87km/h, taking the crown of Fastest Production Vehicle from the McLaren F1. However, the title would not remain with the CCR for long. In May of 2005, the long awaited Bugatti Veyron took away it's title. However, a car attaining 383.87km/h is still pretty fast.
