The XJ220 was a supercar created by Jaguar. Production began in 1992-1994. It held the Fastest Production Car title for 1 year. It's top speed is 350km/h. It's targeted top speed was 220mph therefor gaining the name XJ220. This car was designed to be an immediate thriller when it came out. It was. However, problems arose. The price of the car went up during the production stages, from 361000-403000 GBP, equivalent to $400000-$650000 US. This caused many customers to cancel their orders. The XJ220 was a wonderful supercar, beautiful, powerful, elegant. However, it lived a short legacy and a sad career.
